Wastwater the deepest lake in England, famous for its screes, which drop 2000ft. to the lake, and for the most dramatic view in the Lake District.

Voted 'Britain's Favourite View' in 2008, the scenery is spectacular and unspoilt.

At the Eastern end it is surrounded by Yewbarrow, Kirkfell, Great Gable and Scafell Pike, the highest mountain in England. Tcv
