We have 2 great Lake District Holiday houses providing 4 star Self-Catering holiday accommodation in the Western Lakes, at Gosforth, near Wasdale in Cumbria, a great location for a family break.
Well Cottage is a charming Lakeland holiday cottage with lovely garden and Potters Barn is a luxury holiday flat with spacious living area and outside barbeque area. Both holiday houses are part of an old Cumbrian farmhouse which has been modernised inside and the holiday accommodation is well equipped and spacious. Children are welcome. We are happy to have well-behaved dogs.
Potters Barn sleeps 6 and Well Cottage sleeps 5 - great for families to holiday together whilst enjoying separate houses.
Five minutes walk from the local shop, children's park and newsagents and several traditional pubs serving good food, the houses are in the Lake District National Park also offer superb opportunities for:
• Walking in Wasdale, Eskdale or the Duddon Valley,
• Attractions in the West Lakes – the Ravenglass and Eskdale Railway, Muncaster Castle
• The sea – long, sandy beaches at Seascale and Drigg
• Georgian Whitehaven, with its super new Marina development
• Golf courses, horse riding and fishing nearby
• Days out in the Lake District – Windermere, Coniston and Ulswater are only 1 hour's drive away
