Dick and Barbara Wright moved to Gosforth nearly 30 years ago and have renovated Hardingill House, an old Cumbrian farmhouse which was previously the village Dairy.
We are potters and run Gosforth Pottery, a small, traditional pottery where we make our own pots - some of which can be found in the holiday cottages! We also run week and weekend pottery courses for potters of all ages and abilities.
Dick has always been a keen hill walker and can help you plan walks in the local area depending on your experience, energy level and, of course, the Lake District weather!
Barbara knows the local area well and can give you ideas of things to do during your stay - she also makes great cakes which you will probably sample during your stay.
